Can't vouch for this with a pack on, but it looks good.

What's the question here?

The only thing I don't like about hiking with a tank on is that my pack shoulder straps rub the inside of my upper arm... then again, I haven't owned a nice pack yet so maybe that would make the difference. I do have a tank that is a similar cut that I run in and I love it.

What's the question here?

Female in another thread was looking for a tank top, without a built in bra.

Did not feel like posting it in that thread, as the PA term for an A-shirt has offended people.

Sorry for the confusion.

I was the one lamenting the lack of tank tops with the right cut in the "politically incorrect" thread.

Thanks! It's appreciated. I may check this out.

This is what I really want... of course, it's cotton. But longer silhouette (I have a long torso), deeper scoop neck and arm holes, flat small straps, no extra bells and whistles. If anyone knows of any other good brands, let me know. I feel like I've looked at everything and nothing is just a simple, plain top with the fit I want.

Closer to what you seek. Not really very long in the torso.

Have you ever looked at ladies specific basketball jerseys?

Good luck in your search.

I don't like tanks either b/c of the pack straps. I stuck to a short sleeve shirt.

you might check out Old Navy. They carry alot of the longer torsoed tops for women including tanks. Of course, they are cotton.

Pack straps don't really bother me with tank straps - I just like to be less constricted. T-shirts feel way more confining.

And thanks Cuffs!

A couple of those look like they have potential. We shall see! this one looks the most ideal:

Right now I do wear a lot of old navy tanks but I want to move onto something with less cotton - in the summer sweating has not been fun.

moving comfort (www.movingcomfort.com) has a tank, comes in larger sizes too, i enjoyed hiking in it, and its long enough, nothing more annoying to me than a shirt thats too short.
