In two weeks, there will be several of us heading to Springer to do Georgia. We will get there on Thursday night and start the trail Friday morning. I need an economical place to stay. As long as it is clean and safe, I am happy. There will be four of us if that makes any difference. Any and all suggestions will be appreciated.

I will echo the Hiker Hostel as well, Leigh and Josh are awesome hosts, plus they will provide you with a good breakfast and a shuttle into town and to the trail if you need one.

They get filled up quick, so call now. Plus hikers already on the trail like to come off and stay there as well.

Goose Creek Cabins in Blairsville. 706-745-5111. Very nice clean cabins. 4 of us stayed there last weekend for 80 dollars, 2 bedrooms, bathroom, living room and kitchen. about 40 minutes from springer.

Enjoy your hike.

I have absolutely high regards for Josh's and Leigh's place, having been there several times. They understand and welcome hikers. The place in most regards is like a B & B at hostel prices. By all means, go there.

(Take a look around and see if you see anything you've heard of before while you're there. ;) )
