How's the water between Damascus and Erwin. Get by with 2 liters at a time or need to carry more?

I think I started with two liters per day the length of the trail and never ran out.

Most of the section is wet from all the recent spring rain. Some of the springs that dried up last year are starting to come back.

You might still have to venture a few yards more downhill for a few. But all recovering. I can give a report if you are wondering about any certain spots. Then there a couple popular water drops; TN91, Bitter End, Hughes Gap depending on the angel.

For the amount of water, it all depends on your intake and treatment methods. If you do chemical, I suggest one ready to drink water, one stored water under treated.

I did it about 1.5 months ago. Plenty of water in that section. Carry 1 liter for the most part, occasionally I went with 2.
