Making good progress man ! Getting to Harpers before the 4th of July puts you in good shape for the second half of the hike. If nothing else, you now have Virginia behind you.
Shoot me a text when you get the chance ...

Just a quick post to let a few people that had been following my progress know that I got off trail quite some time ago (3 Aug). Made it to Rutland, VA.
Had a great experience and am looking forward to finishing next summer.
I consider this a successful unsuccessful thru-hike attempt as I learned a lot about long-distance hiking and about myself. Congratulations to those that have completed their thru-hike and continued luck to those that are still out there.
Sorry to hear your trip didn't end quite the way you planned, but you seem to have the proper attitude about it. Hope all is well with you. It is the journey that matters most. Best wishes for next year.

I don't understand
If you haven't done it yourself, it's difficult to understand.

I suspect Rutland, VA, is actually Rutland, VT. Small typo; big difference in miles of Trail completed.
