Blissful and Paul Bunyan will be giving a talk and showing pictures of their Appalachian Trail hike this Thursday, April 24, 7-8:30 PM at the Greene County Library, Main Street, Stanardsville, Virginia. They will have gear and books on display, and Blissful will also have some of her novels for sale.
Hope to see some WB Virginians - and others - there! Love to meet you :)

(feel free to pass this on to your friends!)

I thought it was a terrrible shame no one posted to your thread about this fine opportunity.

I just went thru there on Sunday on the way to Culpeper. I would have liked to have seen it.

Do you plan to give your presentation at The Sovereign Performing Arts Center in Reading or any other venue in The Green Diamond anytime soon? We have lots of hikers here, and, as you know, TGD rocks, whatever that means.;)

Wow if I could recoup some of the gas money somehow to get up there (right now I give the presentations free, of course, but the gas is getting unreal to go too far for a two hour talk) I'd be glad to give a presentation in PA. We are starting our PA part of the program tomorrow night introducing its native son - the rattlesnake. :) But I do wish I was able to get a pic of the one bear I saw (good size too). It was near DWG.

It pleases me to hear Pennsylvania provided you with the opportunity to see both a rattlesnake and a bear. The only bear I saw on my Georgia to Maine hike was my 1st day in SNP. I saw but one rattler, also in Virginia.

Best wishes with your presentation. I'd attend, but the cost of travel is prohibitive.
