Can anyone recommend a quiet place to tent car camp with kids (kids without pets) for a mid-summer weekend close to Lehigh Gap? (CLOSER than Blue Rocks or Hickory Run; nowhere in the "Green Diamond" need apply ;) )

we live in Slatington which is 1 mile from the Lehigh Gap. The Mauch Chunk State Park is close and lots of fun...things to do with the kids, swimming, hiking, etc. Might be worth checking out.

There are also one or two private campgrounds on the blue mountains just west of here.
