View Full Version : Golite Jam2 sizing
Since I have lost weight I am having to replace my old packs.
I am looking at the Jam2 but have heard that the sizing is off 1"-2" and you should move up a size. I have a Golite Trek that is a large but way to big. I don't know if the sizing runs the same between those 2 packs.
If anyone has it how does its sizing compare to your other packs.
thanks

I found the Jam2 sizing to be two sizes too big. I normally fit a size medium pack and the size large Jam2 was too big. I think the Jam2 hipbelt is designed so the bottom of the belt rests right above your waist bone--which makes no sense to me at all. The hipbelt is there to transfer weight to your skeletal structure, not to your diaphragm. Just save your money and get a ULA Conduit, that's what I did. It's a better designed pack, has much more padding on the shoulders and waist and is true to size.

Oops, I meant to say, "two sizes too small". Wish I could edit these posts.
