Nona From Nowhere, Shilo, Me, and Judy from Nashville have thoroughly been fed!
Of course I had to do some gentle persuasion by allowing Sally to bare her fangs to get them to eat this opposum that Sally and I hunted and killed last night. And they thought it was chicken.....
They are not the first hikers I have had to persuade but just like the rest of the hikers I persuaded once they got to eating I had to protect my own plate, in fact I even heard Sally growling. So they must have tried to get her food as well.........

I only wish I could have been at the table, too. I'm assuming that Nest and Co. didn't make it into town in time. Their loss, I'm sure.

Tell him to drop on in, Sally and I just killed a polecat from a distance and we will be more than happy to shove it down his windy pipe!

I sent Judy from Nashville off with some fixins for the both of them............and instructions on how to properly insert the opposum into them.........she said that since she had already been instructed by Sally and I she thought she was already a pro at it and that she would come up with her own way of feeding it to them........man I would like to be there to see that........

He's gone! In fact rumor has it that after he and "Me" had eaten that opposum they had so much energy in them that they could not sleep and left the Apple Tree B&B early the next morning and they are already past Mt. Rogers......................
