I Live in South Hill, Va, but I can get a lift to cities nearby, eg. Richmond, Va; Raliegh,NC; Danville, Va;maybe even Lynchburg, Va; I got off the trail in Damascus and plan to continue on from damscus after trail days....I can help with gas $$...Greyhound (trailname)
WHere in South Hill? When do you want to leave? Do you have much to take with you? Is it for one way?
the furthest im willing to stray from 81 is charlotsville im leaving from harisonburg later today or in the morning

I am about 5 miles out of town , off US1....i have only my pack and i'll be one-way to damascus....i'd like to get there by sat...but i am not going to be choosey....

I need a last minute ride to Trail Days, I'm a thru-hiker in Waynesboro... I might have missed the boat, but let me know if you get this.
Hey, I'm passing along a last minute request from Diesel and Red (aka Red Bull) in Hampton (next to Watauga Lake, TN-67)) who need a ride to Trail Days. Diesel has been super sick recently so much that in between Hampton and Damascus, they had to turn around and head back South to the clinic. :( They were planning on hiking into Damascus Thur. night, but now they need a ride.
