Hi Paddlerme,

Just wanted to say hello since I also live in Bangor or very close to it. Are you hiking on the AT this summer or just looking for local places to hike? I am going away hiking for the summer on the AT but will be back in the fall.

AT this point I am a slow hiker and probably wouldn't make a good hiking partner but perhaps in the fall I would be in better shape. Let me know what you are looking for in a partner and where and when you want to hike, perhaps we can work something out. I maybe to old to keep up with you, I am 47 years old and very fluffy at this point.

I would be happy to connect in the fall when I come back from hiking. I leave in one week. My husband and I are novice hikers but love nature. If our personalities mix, I don't mind doing the driving. Keep me in mind. Send me a pm if you'd like.
