HURRAY for Lipstick!!!
So no, I dont mean the silly product women use to make their lips pouty or shiny or bright red. I am talking about The trail angel that is one of the most kind and giving women I have ever met.
I am speaking of Lipstick, the wife of a current thru-hiker. and really a yellow blazer herself. she has on numerous occasions that I have been witness to and heard about, taken time out of her life and money out of her gas tank to shuttle and support hikers who are totally foreign to her and her husband. no matter who she has come across they are offered food of whatever she has, rides to and from towns and options of slack packing. She is a gem among women and a diamond hidden among the ruff of the trail.

So this is a SOLUTE to Lipstick and her big heart. HIP HIP HURRAY!!!:clap:banana

I met Lipstick at this years SoRuck and learned that she lives rather close to me! WE have been trying to get together since, but when hubby took off to hike I understood why... She is a really super person!

Racoon is Lipstick's hubby, and yes Lipstick is a queen. She was a huge help to me when I was really struggling with motivation in Pearisburg, and I am FAR from the only one.

Met Lipstick and her husband Ed, Racoon, at the So. Ruck this year. Ran into them again while doing my section hike in Virginia. Great people. Racoon gave me a snicker's bar for my birthday at the Bryant Ridge Shelter. Thanks Racoon!!!
