View Full Version : Day Section Hikes in PA on the weekend

Looking for someone/others who may be interested in doing some day hikes for 1 or 2 days over the weekend and would be interested in connecting for shuttles. I am working on PA but want to do more than out and back hikes. I am also open to MD and NJ. I'd be up for anything between 7-11 miles.

You may want to save BMECC's activities schedule (http://www.bmecc.org/Schedule%20of%20Events.htm) to your Favorites. Their new schedule should be up when you return from Maine. They schedule quite a range of activities one or more of which is likely to appeal to you.

I've done all of NJ in sections and would be interested in some in PA. The links provided look great, I've already marked some group hikes on my calendar. Still interested in doing other day sections as well.

Nature, if you're ever in MD and want to hike (weekends are great) let me know. I'd be glad to go with you...have hiked all the AT in MD and know the area pretty well.

7-11 per day? I am looking to finish PA shortly. I have yet to do from lehigh gap to DWG in weekend trips. First from lehigh to wind gap then on another weekend i need to do wind gap to water gap. I also need to do the last 18 miles or so of NJ in the next couple of months. Gonna start at the mayors house in Unionville to the end of NJ. let me know.

Juma and I are doing PA645 to 183 tommorrow and then something near DWG on Sunday this weekend maybe you want to join us for possibilities on Sunday, since the other you have done. I will pm you.
Just want to wholeheartedly endorse Naturewanderer as a great shuttle buddy and hiker. She shows up in shape and on time or before, ready to hike 16 miles plus.
