So on September 8 I'm heading up to Vermont, and the next day I'm starting at the VT/MA line (nobo), doing all of VT and NH, and maybe a couple days of Maine, and I'd really like a hiking partner- anyone interested? (I'm 18, female, and really easy to get along with, and quite accomodating/flexible.) If you're interested, could you send me a private message? (and post here, maybe.)
I'll be hiking Vermont NOBO but I'm starting 2 weeks ahead of you. There should be some thru-hikers going that way though so you won't be alone.

How much hiking experience do you have? Vermont is easy but then the fun stuff happens in The Whites. Be prepared. hiker bob

Fair amount of experience, depends on what kind of "fun stuff" you mean- like terrain and such?

I may be willing to hook up with you in Etna, NH. I am a 28 female and am hiking from northern CT to Etna NH from Aug 10 - 30 and dont really want to repeat any of the trail i have done. Etna is about mid NH i believe.
