Anyone run into these 2 miscreants? Spoke to them a couple of weeks ago as they were headed into a bar night before starting at K headed SOBO. Course they may still be in the bar.

I posted a PM to Vonfrick about a week ago and haven't heard anything either! They are hiking, having a glorious time, thinking about us poor folks that were left behind!

They are a few days ahead of me. I've been reading all of their entries in the trail logs, and they seem to be a pretty cool bunch. I'm in Monson right now, hope i catch up to them sometime.

I spent the night of 7/11 at Shaw's in a room with a sign that said "Warraghiyagey Suite" done in calligraphy . I suspect they must have been there just ahead of me by a day or so...
They passed me SOBO on the 12th in Safford notch at the base of Avery Peak in the Bigelows.

I spent some time with the happy hiking couple last evening and spoke with them again today for a short time. They allowed me to photograph them on the AT and gave me permission to post the image at WB, which I will do as time permits.

It's the real deal Envirodiver, believe it or not, your name was spoken in the wilds of Maine!:) I overheard it during a conversation about Whiteblaze.net members. It was something about theres no such thing as a Envirodiver.

every time they come to a mud hole, rotten bog bridge or other challenging obstacles, its f-ing woodsy's fault !!! :rolleyes::D

If thats how the system works, don't hike the OT part thats in Oklahoma. I take no credit for my southeastern kinfolk and what they do, nor do I take credit for the trail (which I've heard is marked about as well as a deer path, just hearsay though).

Can you believe that dude hit me with a crowbar?? That's messed up. But the look on his face was priceless when I didn't even wobble. There's nothing funnier than watching a dude drop his crowbar and run.
