Basically I work 7 months a year (April through October) and have 5 months off (November to the end of March). It has been in my head for about a month that leaving on <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:date Year="2009" Day="1" Month="1">January 1, 2009</st1:date> for a 3 month hike north would be fun. Shorter days beginning to get longer and crisp air from time to time. I'd like to share the odyssey with an equally crazy sole. By the end of March we probably would be well up into PA. I’d have to jump on a train and head for my job at Acadia National Park in Maine. At that point, if you want a job then come along to Maine with me. I’m the boss – you’re hired. (No drug screening.) We are talking win/win here. LOL
I’ll be 63 on July 30. I’m male and have hiked all my life in all seasons of the year. My trail name is “that guy”. This year as others, I go out for 10 mile hikes most afternoons on all the carriage roads and hiking trails in and out of Acadia. My work chores are done by <st1:time Minute="0" Hour="11">11AM</st1:time> and then I have Shangri-La to venture in.
Let me know and we can plan.
