I'll be nearby with my 6yo son, an easy out and back on the bartram from the sc border at 28. I'm hoping it will be cooler along the river.

wunderground is calling for overcast in clayton with a pretty good chance of thunderstorms.

Have fun! :banana

Hate I'm gonna be out of town. 20 MPD is slow for you guys and this is probably one of the best chances I'll have for a while to try and get up to your speed.

BTW Bulldawg, yeah, you could do it. You'd be one hurting unit, but with a little prep and training you could handle it.

That 20 miles is NOT all downhill, I went through there in June - to Deep Gap anyway.

I couldn't do it either Bulldawg, not in full pack.

I've hiked with Bulldawg. Yeah, he'd have to loose some weight and train, but he can do it if he wants to. Heck, I'd have to loose some weight and train, too, now that I think about it.

Why would I want to lose some weight? I love to eat so much. I also love my sedentary job.

Honestly TS, I have dieted, ate right, exercised (somewhat) and lose no weight. 225 is apparently my hereditary weight.

I am happy with 10-13 miles a day. But I prefer 6-8. LOL!!!:D:D
