OUCH! 4 pounds, tough one. I have always wanted to learn to play harmonica, have taken one with me a few times, shipped home. No connection yet. Survivorman sure likes his!
Good for car camping but on the trail can it cook a meal.

Yamaha has a similar looking model that's been out for years.
I don't see this being used for backpacking at all. Needs and amp (or headphones) and is way too heavy.
I'll stick with my 2 lb "Backpacker" by Martin.

Looks like on the video he's plugged with chord, amp, electricity (not available on trail--thank goodness). That said, it looks super cool. I love the piece together frame and tuning pegs down inside the body--really clever design. But not for the AT though.
