I plan on "backtracking" from the backside of Bear Mountain(?)/Mass border to a parking spot near fisher pond. While I'm not from the area, this is supposedly a state park and should have a decent parking area and some supervision. Additionally, I won't be "backtracking" on the same trail but rather taking a blue blaze trail from the AT to the park. So, is it really backtracking?
