Guys, I need to choose a liquid stove.
Which should I choose between the Simmerlite and DragonFly ?
Leave the weight fact aside, lets talk about the cooking abilities.
I love cooking, and I want to be able to cook on LOW flame, as well as being able to boil water in a short time. And I want the stove to fucntion under rain, high speed winds, etc..
What is your recommendation between those 2 ?
( And I want MSR bcoz of the TITAN 0.8L titanium fuel bottle )

I personally think that the dragonfly is worth the little extra money.
Things i like about it:
Wide cooking space
2 valves
can simmer a sause or boil water in 3 mins on full tilt
it folds up to 1/3 its size
burns kerosene, diesel, unleaded fuel, whight gas, and jet fuel
Light weight
Things i dont like:
:-? :-?
i like everything about it!!:D :D

The simmerlite is slightly less responsive on simmering, but still very capable. The Dragonfly is the loudest stove I have ever heard, you will actually need to raise your voice during conversation.

Louder than the old Svea?

Loud as a jet engine.

I've only been around old Sveas twice, but I don't recall them being excessively loud. Jet engine is a good description. Reminds me of the old Batmobile.
