Attached is my trip report from my second annual Long Trail Trip in a series of six annual southbound day hiking ventures. This trip which took place June 11-18, 2008, went from the Lamoille River (actually VT 15 near Johnson, VT) to Duxbury Road near Jonesville at the base of Camels Hump along the south bank of the Winooski River. The weather was in our favor and the trip also included other hiking in the region, thus the PLUS in the title. This trip has times, mileages and photo albums (all completely captioned). So the info will be helpful for dayhikers with info about routes for car shuttling and other descriptions that would be useful for the backpacker going through. So come along and see what the next 40 miles of the LT has to offer southbound.
