Looks like I probably missed the one for sale. Some friends were telling me about this chair and I thought I'd try it out for my next hike next weekend. If you've got one I can buy (the cheaper the better) or even better yet if you'd be willing to loan me one to try first (I'll pay shipping both ways) pls let me know.

I head out on the 24th so I'm kind of waiting till the last minute eh? :(

I have one, it is designed for western hunters to sit and glass, and as a shelf to carry a game quarter. I wouldn't carry one on an eastern hike, there is plenty of stuff (like trees) to lean a pack against as a backrest, then just sit on your sit pad.

Hmm, I guess a seat would work. Trees aren't that comfortable. :-)

The guy I'm hiking with had a spare chair so I guess I'll give that a shot. Thx t-a-k.
