Sterling. :) BR360 10-20-2008, 16:22 According to Peter Barr's 2008 book, Hiking North Carolina's Lookout Towers, the cabin is dilapidated. Repairs are hoped for (budgeting?) by the Park and the Forest Fire Lookout Association. I understand you can still climb the stairs for awesome views.
