Any one have a used, but still functional bag that will work down too about 25 degree's and weigh less? I would be interested.

 I have a Marmot Aspen 20* SpiraFil, mummy long sleeping bag for sale for $45.00 plus shipping. It is dark gray with light gray & blue in color, but it weighs 3 lb. 8 oz. It does have a clear patch where someone apparently mad a 1 inch cut when opening the shipping container. It is new but does have this patch. If interested pm me. I will accept PayPal. "Rowdy"

Much depends on your metabolism and whether or not you're comfortable with the bag you're carrying. I use a Moonstone Lucid, which is rated as a 20 degree bag. I'm fairly comfortable down into the teens with it.
Of course I usually have a dog with me, who functions as a heat bomb and I like cold weather hiking anyway. In addition I usually go to bed in my base layer and a fleece hat in cold weather.
The best thing to do would be get on the trail in similar weather this winter and see if the bag you currently own works for you, or if you can make it work for you with some additional clothing, etc.
Another thing to think about is site selection when you set up camp at the end of the day. My advice is don't camp on the windy side of the ridge in cold weather, but always camp on the breezy side in warm weather.
Exposure to wind can be very bad in cold weather, very good in hot weather.

This question can be answered very fast: Lay out in your yard for several nights and try out the bag. Won't be as reliable in Florida, unfortunately. Anyone you know have a walk-in freezor?

Cat, I may have the bag you need/want. It is a REI Sub Kilo, 20 degree down bag, weights 2 lb, 2 oz. It is the bag I used from GA-VA '07. It is not the newer orange color, but the light blue type. I was never chilled with PolyPro underwear, wool hat, socks and I went through a few very cold nights at the middle of April. It has always been stored uncompressed except on the trail, I have recently washed it with down soap. I would sell it for 75 bucks + shipping. If paying with Paypal I would want an extra $2.55 to cover those costs.

good price but its too heavy I currently have a military combat bag good down too 30 degree's and it weighs 2 pounds and a gortex bivy cover (also) military total weight 4 pounds.
Trying to find somthing lighter about 1 lb 8 oz'z maybe and 20 to 30 degree coverage? Cheap I do not care if its worn some as long as its usable!

Are you talking about the green middle bag in the three piece system (bivy/green/black)? If so I would question its ability to hit 30 degrees. I would call those more like a 45 degree bag.
1.5 pounds is in the WM/FF/MB/800-fill realm and those bags even used are not cheap
I would go with the Campmor down bag. Its dirt cheap and light

I hate to break it to you but you are talking about an super premium grade bag. Super premium grade bags at that weight and temp range do not come cheap. In fact that is a VERY steep request at 24oz total weight. Also people seldom part with them. If that is what you want you might as well resign yourself to spending atleast $250 used if you can even find it. I would agree with an early post rating your current bag at 45 degrees realisticly depending on how you sleep. I currently own 2 Western Mountaineering bags and a Feathered friends bag along with NUMEROUS other bags. Speaking from experience...I have owned more than 25 bags...YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! Think of this 3am in camp @ 30 degrees and not being able to get warm in "cheap" bag that is "rated" to 20 degrees is miserable. Think of a sleeping bag as part of a sleep system. Personally I would look at a summer weight bag maybe 35 degrees and then use clothing layers that you usually carry anyway to take it to lower temps. Knowledge is the best way to save money.
Can I ask what your total pack weight? And really if a 2lb bag could keep you warm down to 20 degrees...that is a pretty good ratio.
Hope this info helps.

Because it was a very good price. Sometimes I see stuff listed for 5% off retail, and have to wonder.
Got any other good stuff?

My base weight is only about 15 pounds with out cloth's? is that good I am real frugal and inventive. Last hike I carried, 26 pounds from "Afsp" to "Nel's Gap" not counting water weight. about 9 pounds food for 6 day's, from " Neel's Gap" North I carried 32 pounds, about 16pounds food but was shooting for the food to last 11 days, but had sent my bivy cover home saving 2pounds!
Yes my bag is a green combat sack, and a goretex camo cover, 4 ponds total. Very hot most of the time! Just too heavy.
I got another sleeping bag from my neighbor yesterday going to try it out. weighs 2pounds 5 oz's is down but got it for $15.00
Thank's for your input everyone "Cat":)
