View Full Version : Choosing a backpack
So I have been navigating around the website and I have no found anything specifically dealing with backpacks for women. I am sure there is something from way back, but there are so many forums! I am trying to decide on what pack to get. I don't want something too heavy, but it needs to be able to hold everything I need. Should I get an internal frame or external frame? Should I get a 4500 cu in pack or something smaller? I have been on several weekend hiking trips and plan to hike much more before the AT in 2011, but need to buy a new pack. Any help/links to sites would be great! Thanks!!!

Or to search the forums, go to the top bar that starts with photos. Look on the second line to the right and you will see the word 'search'.
Click on that and search the forums for the keywords you want.
Happy trails!

Get your gear lined up first, then buy your pack last. You have plenty of time.
Thanks so much for the threads beeman. I will plan to hold off on purchasing one until I have everything I need, thanks blissful!
