Hi just wonder can you still do freezer bag cooking with just the food you find on the

I used FBC this past summer for all of my dinner meals. Lipton (Knorr) rice/pasta sides, instant mashed potatoes w/grave, and of course ramen. Put the chosen meal in the freezer-bag, add boiling water to bag, place in cozy and wait. About half of the time I would add either tuna or chicken as well. Didn't try stove-top stuffing but have heard that it is good as well.

All of the above meals: Liptons, instant potatoes, and ramen were available almast every re-supply place I stopped.

With Lipton/Knorr sides you might want to experiment at home first. Alot of times if you add the water amount in the instructions, you end up w/ noodle soup.
Couscous is also excellent using this method. No special preparation needed.
I love to cook ramen like this and add a little squeeze butter and then drop in a pack of precooked chicken. MMMmmmmm
Stove Top stuffing and a can of chicken is one of the best meals that I have fixed on the trail. I usually split a box of stuffing into 2 meals but if you are hungry it can be eaten in one meal. Try to find the chicken in the pouch to save on a little weight.
