My wife ran a 16-mile trail race and one of the items in the gimme bag was a candy bar that I'd never seen before in stores in my area: the Snickers Charged. In fact, I didn't see it on a brief search of the Snickers website, so maybe it's not widely available in stores yet or maybe they're doing some test marketing.
It's pretty much the same as a regular Snickers, but it has 65 mg of caffine, which is about the same as a weak cup of coffee, and 250mg of taurine, which is supposed to provide an energy boost.
The combination of the chocolate, nuts, caffine, and tauine provides a decent kick in the butt of energy.
If you carry Snickers and want something with an extra wham, try them out if you can find them.
