Going to hike from Ashby gap to harpers ferry christmas weekend, was wondering if water sources are reliable. I would hear from someone who has done this section recently.
Plenty of water.
Rod Hollow is good.
Sam Moore is good.
Bear's Den is good.
Devil's Racecourse (that rocky area north of Snicker's Gap) is good.
Blackburn Trail Center has water.
The next shelter has water (it's .4 off the trail)
Keys Gap quickie mart has water.

It was ALL good when I hiked it in LATE Sept.
But I had 3 days of RAIN....hehehehehe:D
