Has anyone used this water filtration system? It looks almost too good to be true.

Haven't used it BUT have been known to use a filter bottle on some of my hikes. Think it's a BOTA filter bottle. Works well for me when I squeeze the filtered water into another bottle. To hard to try and suck water from it directly. Weighs about 5 ounces. :)

IMO, I'd say it's too heavy and expensive to be too good to be true from a hiking standpoint.
A couple of items I would consider minuses right off: Weighs 22 oz, needs to be kept from freezing after first use, costs $229. Good for home or base camp perhaps, but overkill and heavy for hiking.
