Is anyone leaving in March from mid florida(St.Petersburg) area I am looking for a ride north too the trail? Willing to share gas etc. Last couple times I took the bus. and then cab from "Gainesville"

Cat, I paid $74 for a one way airline ticket. Airfares are dirt cheap now. Something to think about.

Yes that's true but my pack smell's like feul would never make it on the plane? Anyhow still have to get from "Airport" to "AFSP" so there is a bus and cab, or cab, was wondering if anyone in my area was heading north first part of "March" thats all.

There is a MARTA(light rail) station at the airport that takes you to the north side of Atlanta. From there you can get a cab or shuttle to AFSP. The Hiker Hostel also has a good package that includes a night at their place and all your shuttles.
