Ugh, it sounds like what they are planning is NOT like the At, pct or other long trails in the states. it sounds like a way to make money at the expense of the wilderness. I have been in that part of Oregon. It is surely gorgeous and worth taking a pack and actually sleeping outside in it. Why they can't try and keep it a primitive trail is kinda sad.
