For all of those of you who like to know boil times for stove pot combo's... here goes my test from today:

Temp. 25*
I sat out side for 3 hours:
16 oz water in nalgene
4 oz of HEET
16 oz Fosters pot
mini bic lighter
Mini Atomic Stove

It took 7 min 30 sec to bring 14 oz of water to a boil
the stove continued to burn for another 1 min 30 sec after boil
I did this outside and had to use a windscreen because of the wind..

same stove setup indoors takes around 4 min to boild same amount of water.

I think when you are out in nature time really doesn't matter but I find it interesting for sure..

I had the HEET in a 4 oz bottle
I used a little less than an oz to boil the water.

did you try denatured ??

maybe i'm really new but that seems like a while to get that boiling doesn't it?
