More a Long Trail than an AT shuttle question I think. This summer, we are thinking of going up to VT to do a couple day hikes - between 10-15 miles/day. We ski at Sugarbush, MRG, Stowe and Smugglers Notch so we thought it would be fun to hike those peaks in the summer.
The Sugarbush/MRG hike is pretty straighforward, we would drive to either Lincoln Gap or Appalachian Gap and need a ride back to the car at the other point. The Stowe/Smuggs one is a bit more challenging.
At this date, I'm just asking if anyone has gotten these kinds of rides, would be willing to provide these kinds of rides and what's customary to do for the folks who give us the ride. I'm thinking August at this point but that might move up to July depending on other factors.
