I'm planning to hike the section from Atkins to Pearisburg starting next weekend. Any comments on trail conditions would be appreciated.

My wife and I hiked up Angels Rest today on Pearis Mountain. If you don't here from anyone else here for Adkins I can tell you I seams that we've had enough rain and snow this winter for the springs to flow, and they were at Angels Rest. Sgt. Rock reported in a post earlier this week that the bridge replacement work at dismal falls had been completed.
The streams are running strong. You should see some Crocuses up now. There were lots of downed trees between Lions Den Rd and Big Horse Gap. There was one large tree completely blocking the trail.
