I am looking for a moderately priced four season tent and came across this model. Has anyone had any experiece using this tent in windy and snowy conditions? If so, what are your general impressions of the tent with regard to strength and quality. Thanks.

I have had one now for about 6-7 years. It is my primary solo winter tent and at 6 lbs, isn't that heavy for what I consider a bombproof shelter.
I have had 1 foot snowloads on the tent with no worries. The middle a-frame poles (Eureka had borrowed the idea from their Eureka Alpine Meadows) really stops the tent walls from flapping.
I like the front and rear vestibules.
the material is 2.4 Ripstop Nylon (IIRC) which is much strong than their standard 1.9 oz.
I carried a Timberlite for many years and that is what caused me to decide to get an an Alpenlite for Winter.
I can also fit my son in it with me and the middle A-Frame Poles create a lot of extra headroom.
If you call Eureka Factory Outlet directly, you might be able to get a Class A (Minor Blemishes) for about $150.
Cal them at 888-6Eureka (or 888 eureka6 - I can't remember)
Let me know if you have any specific questions.
