Hi,
Any fellow White Blazers hiking north out of Hot Springs on or about April 16-17th this year?
My niece and I head north for a month on the AT..it would be nice to have WB company for a while.
We are not worried about being too lonely though as we expect the trail will be alive at this time in the season.
Thanks, and have a great hike where ever you may go.

PS Any ideas where we can leave a car in HS for a month?
Any ideas where we can leave a car in HS for a month?Yup, leave it at the Forest Service Parking lot near the trail/ranger station. Perfectly safe place to park.

Shoe, we may meet You..we may hike 2 weeks north then turn around and hike 2 weeks back to our car in HotSprings.
The turn around spot may be Kincora Hostel.
So Shoe keep a look out for Sandalwood
Are You hiking with friend/s? How far do You hope to get on a month?

Keep well, Max/Sandalwood

Max,
Hiking for a month should put you finishing the weekend of Trail Days, I think. If that is the case, consider hiking north for the full 2 weeks. If you get past Damascus, there are shuttles that will be running Thur/Fri of that week to take you into Damascus. From there, you are likely to find a ride down to Hot Springs on Sunday. There will be a ton of former hikers at Trail Days, and usually you can find someone going near where you want to be going and are willing to give you a lift.
Just food for thought.
