Hey Maine-folk and non-Maine folk alike,

I am a Mainer, always looking for compatible hiking buddies. While I do value solitude highly, and I certainly don't mind if we travel at our own pace for much of the days, to me it seems simply safer in pairs or trios. At least we could connect midday and camp nearby at night.

Laid-back, quiet-ish, imaginative, friendly, slow-to-medium paced folks who prefer diplomacy to confrontation seem to be good hiking-matches for me. Gender, age, etc doesn't really matter. I would love to do some short (weekend? week?) sections anywhere in New England. Or maybe outside New England...
