The media feeding frenzy appears to be about nothing.

I got the impression people were asked to leave as a precautionary measure, not because of imminent or existing danger. Back to business as usual now?

I'll post an article from The Reading Eagle if it's available when I can later today. There wasn't much to say, but since the incident was mentioned, I thought it might not be a bad idea to post what can be posted.

Did The Morning Call print anything, darkage?

Looks to me like The Morning Call's writer was off-article. That one belonged in the letters to the editor.

I'll post what The Reading Eagle ran later today if they thought it worthy of online publication. Be advised, they didn't have an axe to grind.

I had some business a couple of miles from the spill site on saturday. ran into a firefighter who was part of the reponse team. he said about a cup of the chemical leaked out. It was all precautionary. Sure as hell caused a lot of traffic jams around here though.

You could see that one coming, even from Michigan. We can now add toxic spills to the list of, man eating plants, yeti, Blair Witches and all the other inventive fear mongering involved with the AT.:banana
