Parking at Neels Gap

Is there a good place to leave a car for a few days at Neels Gap (in Georgia at Hwy 19/129)?

Also, how is the water supply between there and Springer Mtn?

Bryon Reece parking area is about 1/4 mile past Neels. Blue blaze trail from there to the AT. At the AT turn left to head north to the store at Neels, turn right to head south and up Blood Mtn.
