If you have questions, weather your a party crew or a serious point A to point B hiker. Ask
Your spelling might be off, but your idea is great. Too much nonsense here.

Johnny Thunder is 8 men with one through hike. And bored with all this talk of mileage and gear.
If anyone has any serious questions about hiking with multiple personalities or wants to know how to get from point A (a bar) to point B (another bar) just ask.

Repeat hike. Most of my favorite bars have outdoor seating. Not the sort of thing you can enjoy mid-November.

Jose, I am new to hiking and I have a question.
On my last hike I came to a long stretch of trail along the side of a mountain. I think that's called a sidehill trail?
That wasn't the question.
The question is, in that situation would it be best to adjust my hiking poles so that the pole in the downhill hand is longer than the one in the uphill hand, or shorten the pole in the uphill hand, or both, to even out the level of my hands or is it best to just continue walking with the same length of pole in each hand even though that means one hand would be higher than the other?
That might have been like two or three questions, wasn't it? Or is that another question?

that's easy, adjust both poles to stay balanced. the bigger question is which side should mr. johnson ride on, uphill or downhill?

Dear Gentle "New to Hiking" Reader,
Miss Manners is always annoyed when Jose fails to give a prompt response. Miss Manners suggests that for simplicity's sake, you should keep both poles the same length and simply change your trail name to "Lean-to". Avid readers of this column will remember a similar question posed by a city walker in San Francisco, who solved her problem by changing her name to "Ilene".

In Vermont the cows have adapted by having different length legs on each side. They have two longer legs on the right and two shorter legs on the left. This is so they can graze on the hills. The problem is that when they walk down off the hills onto level ground they all seem to lean to the left....maybe it's a state thing.:)

So that's why they are all always facing the same direction! If they faced the opposite way they would fall over!
We solve that problem in Wisconsin by not having any hills, gives the cows more flexibility in their grazing.
