I was reading up on the Art Loeb - came across a post that some dude was worried about falling off the trail at the Narrows. I will be hiking with a young-one and want to keep it safe.
Is this a dangerous section of trail? Is there potential to fall off the thing and die? Anyone got any pics.

If I remember correctly, there was at least one pack off scramble to get down a 10 foot or so rock face. I'm sure there is the potential to take a nasty fall, but the term "the Narrows" has to do with the fact that the ridge that runs for around a mile or so has dramatic dropoffs to the east and west which make for some awesome views, especially in winter. They aren't sheer cliffs, but if you wandered off the trail too far you could probably find a way to find a dangerous dropoff.
