Has anyone been to the Red River Gorge in Kentucky since the ice storm that hit at the end of January?
I heard from some folks that went down to climb that access was somewhat limited due to many many fallen trees.

I hiked in the Clifty Wilderness portion of the Red River Gorge the first and third weekends of March and there were *many* downed trees. Very tough going.

whew, u r tougher than the group I was with, after scrambling under, over and around some amazing deadfalls, they decided to back out and go another time. We had some novice hikers, so it was the right decision.

I was on the Koomer ridge area a few weeks ago, lots of signs of downed trees, but all were cleared (chainsaws & stuff) & we did no climing over around or under downed stuff. Even the side trail to double arch was cleared.
