I am heading to Damascus from Texas on 15 April ....if you need a ride in that direction

Also, I will be hiking from Damascus North and am looking for a hiking partner with a car so we could shuttle between our two cars on the way north..

How far north are you planning on hiking and when do you plan on getting off? I was looking to hike up to the Tye River before Traildays. But I've already done about 80 miles north of Damascus. We could leave one car at each end... I live in Brenham. Drop me a line if you think we could work something out.

I plan on driving back to the trail on 15 April.
I can hike starting from anywhere north of Damascus ..I prefer to go NOBO and drive back down to traildays on the 13th of May.

I do have a commitment to Hike on May 1,2,3 with my son in law and grandson. I was planning on doing Damascus to mile 499 with them on that weekend however this is not set in stone and they could hike with me anywhere on the trail that weekend.

So if you are interested in hiking together up to traildays let me know, I can meet up with you in Atkins or anywhere north and we could hike to the Tye River ( ..then send me an e-mail or call me at 817-483-2514.
The biggest question I have is what start date are you looking at?
