I just bought one. I chose it for the roominess and it definetly is. Some people claim that the temp rating is optimistc. I have a theory that the tighter the bag is the warmer the occupant will feel and the looser the bag is the cooler it will feel. so to a smaller person it may feel optimistic but to someone with broader shoulder it may feel just right.

I have since decided to get a Marmot UL SS down hugger #2. It is slightly lighter and packs down smaller.

I will sell you the lone ranger (size reg) for a fair price. I lost the recipt and cant return it. It has only been used once in my living room. PM me if interested.

I use this bag and a 15 degree insulated aircore pad. I find the temp rating right on the money.

I am big (6'3" and 300) so I fill it up, perhaps that is why its temp rating feels right.

I really like the BA system as I also use a 50 degree summer bag with my pad.

I have used this bag for 2 years now and am very happy with it so far.

I got a Lost Ranger, Lost Dog and insulated air core pad to use together for winter jaunts. Lost Ranger fits inside Lost Dog.

Lost Ranger is a nice bag and about on temp rating wise. I got it for two reasons..one was the pad sleeve which is a great idea and the other was for the size. This bag is huge and with the pad in the sleeve it's a bed not a bag. You can toss, turn, rollover all night and the bag doesn't twist around you and the pad remains under you.
There are much better down bags out there...lighter, cheaper...etc but for the price and what i get out of it I sleep well at night!
I'm hiking the AT this year and this is the bag I'm sleeping in. No complaints.

I have one and am on the trail right now. (Well, actually I'm sitting at the computer in the Holiday Inn Express in Erwin typing this and waiting out the snow storm.) I use mine with the inflatable matress as the shelters really do a number on my hips and back. I have run into several below freezing nights since being on Springer on March 3rd...never cold and on a few occasions I have had to crack the bag because I was too warm.

That's a serious endorsement...an in-progress test! Thanks RadioFreq, good luck with your hike!

I Have the BA Enchantment which is rated at 15 degrees plus the insulated 15 degree BA air core mattress Now granted it's not down I am 6' 225 lbs and to be honest I was cold at 40 degrees. I slept in pants a tee shirt added a fleece top later and helped me a little. I bought on-line at campmor can't find receipt or would go back. I wanted a little more room so was constricted next time I will try MB hugger. Now this is my opinion others love the bag so don't let my opinion alone steer you.

I also had the encampment and insulated aircore. I took it with me to the everglades in january and was cold on two nights when the temp dropped into low 40s. I was comfortable in the mid 50s.

The problem was that it was just too large. You moved at all and the bag acted like a bellows blowing all the hot air out and replacing it with cool air. Added to that the bag was huge packed up.

The Lost ranger is a bit smaller as a mummy IIRC. If thats so you may have better results. The BA bags are so large that I would imagine a mummy bag would fit like another manufacturers rectangular bag. If it isnt a mummy cut I would look into those unless you are a larger fellow. For reference I am 6'3 200lbs.
