NOBO in March 2010 looking for hiking partner

Is there a more official and perhaps more structured, classifieds-like place to find thru-hiking partners on this site or any other? I am Nobo in March 2010. 26/Male. Georgia. I try to have a great sense of humor. Ha... it sounds like I'm looking for a date. I'd like to plan some overnight hikes in September and October 09 in North GA. I've started plans for a nobo trip in Mid-March 2010 as well. Step 1.....money for the gear I need and don't have. I too might be able to plan some shorter trips summer/fall this year....

I am looking to go in late March 2010, too. I'm 28/F from New York. I'd be down for a few overnights in GA in the fall. I don't know how you'd feel about going with a female, but if you want to try it out...let me know! Have you hiked any part of the AT before?

22, M, living in Athens at the moment, want to go around this same time. At the moment I'm trying to goad a friend into coming, but if that doesn't pan out, maybe I could join you (any of the people in this thread...?) for some hikes in the area to see if we'd make a good group?
