Here's a trip report for a small piece of the Mazatzal Divide passage: http://www.nwhikers.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7974389
and the Highline Trail Passage from Geronimo Trailhead: http://www.nwhikers.net/forums/viewtopic.php?p=490404#490404
both have a lot of photos to give you an idea of the terrain.
Chris Townsend's book on his AZT thru-hike is a must-read!

Well, thanks Nrvana! Now I'm getting "the bug" for a NEW trail; another long hike, driving across the country, baking during the day, freezing at night, no water, bad water, desert-baked feet, endless suppers of bland trail food and rattlesnakes with an attitude. I'm gettin' too old for this s**t!!
