I'm looking at both of these bags but don't see much difference between them. Anybody out there have any experience with either?

One's got 850+ fill power, the other 800. Not sure if there is another difference, probably material they use. I know the other high end 850+ fill power bags they make has a dwr fabric on the bag that the lower end bags don't have. For me looking at a 40 degree bag, i'd probably go with the cheaper of the two.

I have an Arete and love it...I saw no reason to spend the extra money on the Atom, especially since it doesn't weight much less and only comes in left zip (I HATE left zip). I think Marmot may also claim the Atom is a couple degrees warmer (if you look at the specifics of their new EN temp ratings) but I felt a couple degrees were trivial for a bag I would only use in the summer months.
