Headed out this afternoon with boy scouts for a 2 day trip in to the Ellicott Rock Wilderness. Can't wait!!!!:banana First trip this year. I sure have missed being on a trail. Gonna be trying out some new gear, REI Flash 65 and NeoAir mattress.

Going in at Burrell's or the Hatchery?
Camping at the East Fork site?
We went in at Sloan Bridge on the Fork Mtn Trail. Stayed at the East Fork area Saturday night. Weather was great, just a little warm for me though. Was still a great weekend.:D

Thats a nice 7+ miler access to the river. How were the trail conditions?
Is the sign for Ellicott's Rock still up? Vandals keep moving it.
How was the water level in Chattooga? I'm planning a 4 day trout fishing hike next week.
Great hiking in there.
Trail is in pretty good shape, a few blow downs to deal with. The sign for the rock was there. Water level good on the river, saw several guys fly fishing.
