View Full Version : Flip Flop May 25, Harpers Ferry
I am looking for a hiking partner for at least a couple weeks of the beginning of my thru-hike. I wish to begin May 25 out of Harpers Ferry nobo. I am in top shape and like to push myself, so I am looking at hiking about 15 miles a day, on average. I have a lot of experience on the trail also!
If you were starting a little south of it I would be in. I am doing Rockfish Gap to Harpers Ferry and starting at Rockfish gap on the 23rd so I would only be 3 days into the SNP by the 25th. I am doing SNP solo then hooking up with my brother(06 thru hiker) in Front Royal and going onto Harpers Ferry. I have been on the trail a lot but not in trail shape but still gonna press on at least 15 mile days to stay on schedule.
Great! Well we might find eachother on the trail then. I started at Rockfish last summer, but I do want to do the whole trail in one shot. The only reason I choose Harpers Ferry is due to the ease of getting to the trail from the airport, since I will most likely fly out or take a bus to DC. Happy Hiking!
Well I'll probably miss ya in HF cuz I'll still be in the SNP at that point but have fun out there. I live in NEPA and am out on the trail as much as I can be so maybe I'll catch ya up here sometime.:D
