Depending on where and when, I may be able to help with a shuttle.

Thanks Tin Man for your reply. I plan on leaving my car on CT 55 in Gaylordsville CT and walking south for about 6 days, that would be Shuttle back to my car on Saturday 16 May. I figure about 75 miles.

Tin Man, Sunday 17th would also work.
Thanks

you might consider hiking to your car, rather than away. gives you more flexibility for your schedule

So you are saying that if I get a shuttle on Sunday the 10th of May to a point about 75 miles south and walk back it would be a better choice. I am fairly flexable.

that is what we always do - have the person shuttling meet us at the terminus point and then drive us to the start...then we hike to our car :)

Wystiria, sounds like a good paln if you can count on doing a given number of miles per day. I guess planning less in this case would be better.

If you come up a bit short and need to get back to your car hiking north I might be able to help and I know Tin Man is just down the road as well.

by meeting when you arrive by car, it is much easier to coordinate a time than waiting until you hike out. people who help shuttle aren't exactly sitting around waiting for your call. :)

Thanks Sasquatch, Tin Man for the advice/offers. I think I'm going to go with a third option.

yeah - worst case we take an extra day to get to our car or hitch or call a taxi service or whatever.

but regardless have fun! we wont be out that way in the next to weeks so we can't help you out

if you are comfortable with hitching CT is very friendly in that regard...
