Hiker Dies After Fall From Cliff At State Park
Student Fell 40 Feet Near Cave At Salt Fork

NEAR CAMBRIDGE, Ohio -- Authorities say a Muskingum College student who fell from a cliff while hiking in an Ohio Valley state park has died.
Salt Fork State Park assistant manager George Ayers told NEWS9 a witness called 911 Saturday at 2:26 p.m. to report that a woman fell from a cliff at Hosak's Cave.
Amy Adams, of Baltimore ,was flown to Akron General Hospital and died Sunday at about 1:15 a.m.
Ayers said Adams fell about 40 feet into a creek bed after wandering from a marked trail to access the top of the cliff.
College president Anne Steele has informed students at the New Concord school of the junior biology major's death.
The park is north of Cambridge.
